AREFLH will be present at the 31st IHC (International Horticultural Congress) that will take place from 14-20 August at the Congress Center in Angers, France)
AREFLH is a partner of the project SmartProtect (SMART agriculture for innovative vegetable crop PROTECTion: harnessing advanced methodologies and technologies).
It is a thematic network focusing on cross-regional knowledge sharing of SMART IPM solutions for farmers and advisors. Its aim is to stimulate knowledge flow in the regional AKISs (Agriculture Knowledge and Innovation Systems) across the EU and connect these to the innovative potential of advanced methodologies for Integrated Pest Management (IPM) in vegetable production, integrating precision farming technologies and data analytics.
At the IHC, the International Horticultural Congress, AREFLH will have a stand and present an E -poster on "SmartProtect Platform: The platform of smart IPM techniques" as part of the active knowledge exchange (open days).
At the congress, IPM technologies which are part of the Smartprotect project will be showed such as :
- traps "FUNNEL SCM" utilized (Helicoverpa, Autographa, Spodoptera)
- and WING SCM utilized (Tuta absoluta, plutella xylostella).
